Acrobat Reader

Acrobat Reader is a free software package produced by Adobe Systems, Inc. It lets you view, download, and print many NMS documents in Portable Document Format (PDF). You must have a recent version of Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to take advantage of these features. Follow the downloading instructions and program documentation to properly install Acrobat Reader.

Viewing Instructions After Installation

To view a PDF file, click on the PDF document link. A new browser window will open and the Acrobat Reader plug-in will automatically load and display the file.

Tip: Saving To Your Hard Drive
You may save a PDF file to your hard drive and use Acrobat Reader to view it at any time. To do this:
• Open the PDF file (it will open in a new window)
• Select the "floppy disk" icon in the upper left corner of the toolbar. A "Save a Copy..." dialog box will open. Select a destination for the PDF file and click on the "Save" button. (Windows-PC users should be sure to save the file with a .pdf extension).
• Open Acrobat Reader and choose File > Open from the menu to open the PDF file you saved.
